The price of oil continued to fall to new lows again yesterday. Although that sounds like it might be a great thing for us as drivers as we fill-up at the pump. The unfortunate truth is that history tells us this is a bad thing. Anybody remember 2008? I live in Texas and although we have a vibrant economy, the drop in oil prices is already having a dramatic affect for many that make their living on the oil industry.
If form holds true, we should expect U.S. stocks to start tumbling significantly very shortly followed by a 2016 recession. And add to that our current political situation, civil unrest and terror threats, the makings of a perfect storm hitting our economy hard is very likely. Are you prepared?
